The Violin is a theatrical multimedia event, a message sent  from the past . Sharing the stage and screen, actors and musicians take the audience into a vibrant world full of imagery movement and music.

On screen, Nessim 80 today, looks back on his life. Tangled threads of disappearing memories spark him into his past, unravelling as a tale of horror, hope, love and hate examining fragile, horrified human conditions.

On stage, a series of memory sketches drawn by actors and musicians create intimate scenes in which physical style movement and action are reduced to their essence embracing mime, and music.

This show combines stage and film mediums to create a unique powerful theatrical magic, sometimes nostalgic, sometimes realistic, and mostly grotesque. It's a one frame plot, characterized by the connection between the historic occurrence and the happening of today, like Metropolis, a film of Fritz Lang 1927 meet the cruel scenario of refugees in the twenty-first century.
